Free will service

John Taylor Hospice has partnered with McClure Solicitors to offer you a free will preparation service. We just ask that you consider making a donation to the hospice.

Making a will is one of the most important things that you can do to ensure that your family is taken care of when you are no longer here. With this in mind John Taylor Hospice has partnered with McClure Solicitors to offer you a free will preparation service.

If you already have a will, why not consider a free will review service to check that your wishes will still be followed if your circumstances have changed or you would like to make a gift to a charity?

Both services are free – we just ask you to consider making a donation to John Taylor Hospice.

Power of Attorney is a legal document which appoints someone you trust to act for you if you become unable to make decisions or manage your affairs – both financial and property and health and welfare.

With more families now making Power of Attorney decisions, we have partnered with McClure Solicitors to offer its supporters a Power of Attorney service at a special price of £199. From that McClure will donate £30 to John Taylor Hospice.

McClure Solicitors was founded in 1853 and has grown to be a UK wide business with a multi million pound turnover, raising substantial funds for charity. You can see their video here.

To arrange an appointment or for more information call us on 0800 852 1999 or email McClure stating you are supporting John Taylor Hospice.

What our patients think

“The care was second to none”

“At such a heartbreaking and difficult time, the nurses and care assistants knew exactly what to do and to say – we’d have been lost without them. The care they provided for my beautiful wife was second to none and I’ll be forever grateful.”

Roger Perks

“Nothing is too much trouble”

“I can’t thank hospice teams enough. From fitting grab rails in my house and ordering a reclining bed, reviewing of all my medication, providing me with new medical equipment and even helping to organise domestic help for us at home – they’ve covered everything but are always willing to do even more.”

Jackie Bannister

“I don’t know where I’d be without them”

“The support I get is truly is invaluable and I honestly don’t know where I’d be without them. I’m able to talk openly about my illness and ask for advice and support if I need it. I’ve made some incredible friends and the hospice is a very special place full of laughter and kindness. “
