Make a Will Month

Have you been meaning to write your will but keep putting it off?

This October we have teamed up with a number of solicitors and will writers who will be waving their usual fees and giving their time and expertise to help you make or update your will, in return for a donation.

Suggested donations are £100 for a single will, which typically cost £185, or £125 for a joint will, which costs £225 on average. All funds raised will go towards The Hospice Charity Partnership, which supports people to live well with life-limiting illness.

  1. Choose your local participating solicitor or will-writing consultant from the list below and call them directly
  2. Quote ‘The Hospice Charity Partnership’ as you book your appointment
  3. During your appointment, you will be asked to please make a donation to John Taylor Hospice

This year, you can choose to write your will online using Guardian Angel.  Simply input the coupon code ‘THCP-FREE’ when promoted to write your will for free. You’ll then be asked to make your donation upon completion.

Appointments are limited, so book today with one of our following solicitors or will writers:

What our patients think

“The care was second to none”

“At such a heartbreaking and difficult time, the nurses and care assistants knew exactly what to do and to say – we’d have been lost without them. The care they provided for my beautiful wife was second to none and I’ll be forever grateful.”

Roger Perks

“Nothing is too much trouble”

“I can’t thank hospice teams enough. From fitting grab rails in my house and ordering a reclining bed, reviewing of all my medication, providing me with new medical equipment and even helping to organise domestic help for us at home – they’ve covered everything but are always willing to do even more.”

Jackie Bannister

“I don’t know where I’d be without them”

“The support I get is truly is invaluable and I honestly don’t know where I’d be without them. I’m able to talk openly about my illness and ask for advice and support if I need it. I’ve made some incredible friends and the hospice is a very special place full of laughter and kindness. “
