Bank – Housekeeper

Did you know that Birmingham St Mary’s and John Taylor Hospices have merged?  Together we are on an exciting journey to deliver equitable end of life and palliative care to more people across Birmingham and Sandwell and to help us achieve our vision, we’re looking for a skilled and experienced Housekeeper to join our Bank Team.

We are looking for a Bank Housekeeper to work flexibly with our existing housekeeping team to deliver an efficient and high quality housekeeping service within the hospice.  You will be responsible for delivering and maintaining a clean and tidy environment throughout the hospice in line with operational standards and ensuring that work processes comply with statutory regulations.

Patient contact will feature in this role and so you must be able to deal with the sensitive nature of working within a hospice environment.  The Charity provides services 24/7, 365 days a year, the post holder may be required to undertake occasional weekend and evening working.
