An exciting permanent position has arisen within the Facilities Department at Selly Park site for an experienced and qualified maintenance assistant to support the day to day operations of the maintenance team.

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, your role as the Maintenance Assistant is to support with the maintenance and upkeep of the Hospice premises and assets, to undertake minor building maintenance works, including redecoration, electrical and plumbing repairs, including minor new works, with the use of powered machinery and hand tools, including their maintenance.

Ideally, the successful candidate will have 5 years’ experience within the building maintenance sector –  including plumbing and/or  electrical services.
